web and email links now working

Sorry this took so long but links and email addresses are now active links when you post them in your comments or messages. Let me know if you run into any problems using this feature.

One suggestion: Could web links be set so that an external link opens in a new browser window? If you click a link in a forum post and then forget and close that window, you are closed out of the network.

This is a question that gets a lot of debate in the web world. One argument is that the back button is one of the most used navigational elements when folks are browsing the web. So if you open another window when clicking on a link, the back button is now useless. And then there's the other side which you highlighted. If I close the window, not realizing I'm still in the same window, I lose my place and have to open another window and log back in.

I lean toward keeping the user in one window, therefore keeping the back button as a navigational element. But am open to changing that. If people feel strongly one way or the other, I'm happy to change it. Any thoughts out there?
