Planning document

One of my roles at the CHESS research center is as a project manager of tech development. I also love having a process to follow. One of the most valuable tools I use is a project charter. It provides structure and forces everyone... executive sponsors, stakeholders and staff, to sit down and really think through goals and how we're going to accomplish them. It's invaluable in getting folks on the same page and setting clear expectations right from the start. It's also a great resource to have as a reference as you manage the project. For those with experience implementing EBPs what are the planning tools or documents you have used?

One I found online is the NIRN Implementation Drivers: Review and Planning.
