Is leadership committed to this change process?

A core component of successful organizational change is the commitment of leadership to the implementation process. [1]

Commitment from leadership can take many forms, like:

  • Initiate and shepherd the organization through the change process
  • Set explicit goals, communicate them clearly throughout the organization, resolve conflicts with other goals, and reinforce persistence
  • inspire, guide, and provide direction

Getting leadership committed to implementing an Evidence-based practice can be an ongoing process.

Some ideas other clinical supervisors have suggested are:

  • Clearly show how implementing this EBP will impact the CEO's immediate goals.
  • Data. Has this EBP been a success elsewhere and do you have data that shows that?
  • Describe how this EBP will help your clients
